Willmott Dixon is an independent construction company. I was commissioned to produce a promotional video highlighting how the company utilised the ‘passivhaus’ technique during the construction of the University of Leicester Centre for Medicine.
The video needed to portray the broad scope of techniques and skills used in the construction project. So the proposed solution included interviews to outline the complex technical aspects of the build, along with both traditional and drone footage to highlight the size and scale of the work.
A 4-man crew was hired and 2 days were spent filming and interviewing workers on the busy site. The footage was edited over a 4 day period and used extensively to highlight the construction techniques used.
